Chapter two

   chapter two
    new Samus

Leria opened her eyes, feeling no blood on her hands and cold hands on her arms, and she felt a stinging pain on her chest. "Ooh, you're awake." A nice voice said. The soft and smooth voice echoed through her head, and she struggled to keep her eyes open. She saw all blurry. "You're amazing. You survived the attack. Leria got herself to speak. "What attack?" She forgotten the day before, it was like a blur to her. "Oh dear, you forgot it all." The woman with the cold hands said. Leria struggled to see better, and it all became clearer. She remembered yesterday. What she didn't understand was why she had a stinging pain on her chest. She torched it, and winced in pain. "Oh! Don't touch that!" The woman warned. She was dressed in white, and her face was tan, and she had dark brown hair and hazel eyes. She had a small hat on her head, but Leria made out something saying Metroid nurse. "Who are you? Where am I?!" Leria said worriedly. "Why does my chest hurt?!" The "nurse" laughed. You are at the Metroid infirmary, I am Miss. Reachel, a nurse. Your chest hurts because-" She began. "Did I shoot myself with the lazor gun after I shot Bayles? I should have known not to shoot it after I shot if before..." Miss. Reachel looked worried. "Exactly that, but we didn't know you killed that young boy! Why would you kill an innocent soul like him?!" The nurse rampaged. "I did it for his own good! He was near dead and in horrible pain from the space pirates, and I shot him because he needed it!" Leria cried. The nurse gave Leria a cold glare. "Fine. Your going off into camp." Leria stared at the nurse. "Camp? What do you mean?" "Metroid camp. It will teach you to become a young Metroid. I think that you will become a find one indeed." Leria's eye where wide. "I want to go home! Why cant I just live like a normal kid?! I'm only ten!" The nurse gave her a sweet look. "You need to go there. You have a high potential." Leria rolled her eyes, and she slumped in her hospital bed. "Just get out. I don't need you in here." The nurse looked at her, shrugged and picked up her fancy laptop and strolled away. "You will be starting camp today." She said as she walked out the door.

Leria wriggled, as she was fitting herself into the camp suit. It was blue, skin tight and plain annoying. So she just slipped on her T-shirt and jeans. I mean, who would care how I dress? she thought. She put her hair into a tight ponytail, and she slipped out the door. "Why in the world are you dressed like that Miss. Seridy?" A coach bellowed. "Because I feel like it." Leria snapped. The coach's jaw dropped, and he stared in disgust at her. "Change now!" Now Leria was getting annoyed. "I will stay this way!" "You are so ignorant! Get into your zero suit now!" Leria murmured something under her breath, and she stepped into the changing room. She looked around for a new style instead of the one in front of her. She went into another locker, and saw the prettiest suit. It was nearly the same, but it was black with bright orange stripes along the sides and on the back instead of a pink odd symbol there was an orange Freesia flower on the back of the suit. Freesia flowers mean spirited, and that was fairly good for Leria! She slipped the suit on and walked out. She got disapproving looks from coaches, but they didn't say a word. She stepped onto a weird platform, and was to put her hand on a little table in front of them. She saw worried faces all around her. What's happening?! She thought worriedly. She felt a painful stab in her hand, and it all went numb. To her utter surprise, other kids where bawling their eyes out. Then she smelt chemicals, and she felt a different jab. Somewhere in her head, or her heart, something was happening. Then she felt her skin ripple with a weird feeling and her blood changing. What the heck?! She thought, before she felt something else. A tingly feeling, like spiders crawling everywhere on her. He saw the bawling people begin to literally try to move, but they couldn't. She felt different.. then everything  around her began to spin, and the jab in her hand loosened, and she managed to see a clear needle with  a yellow liquid in it, and blood on the top. She looked at her hand and it was only a bit bloody, but there was a yellow liquid over it, turning the blood a redder color, and it began to look creepy. Then she noticed what just happened inside her. That needle was jabbed into her hand, and it injected a chemical medicine into her body, which explained the smell. The tingling and shaky odd feeling was her blood getting mixed with the medicine type stuff, and it was turning different. It coursed to her, and it made her stronger, and not human. She looked at her hand again. It had a small blue-white fire crest on the spot where the needle jabbed. She focused on it, and she felt her skin tingle and change. Before she knew it, she was surrounded by metal, and she had a hard glass plate in front of her face with all this confusing stuff over it. A harsh and familiar voice overcame her head, coming from the suit. "Now someone here is a fast leaner! You already have your suit on. You are now a Metroid."

Yay! Finally done! I worked hard on it! We are getting to training camp, which means I am accepting characters! If you want a character in comment below, the more you view and comment the more cooler and important your character gets! But if you don't comment at all, they will probably fade away and die or get kicked out. You can do as many characters as you wish!

Chapter one

chapter one
A New Beginning

Leria snuggled next to her dad, and she was watching the TV. "Leria? Do you want some popcorn?" Bayles asked. Bayles was Leria's older brother. He was like her best friend. Leria's mother died not long ago because of a surprising ambush of space pirates and the mega dragon Meta Ridly. "Uh, sure. Popcorn sounds great." Leria sat up and looked around. She noticed something new on the mantel. A snowglobe; but it wasn't normal. No, it wasn't normal at all. It was glowing with electicity, and it was the weirdest sturcure she had ever seen. It was a big spacecraft type thing. "Da? Whats that snowglobe supposed to be?" Leria asked. "Oh dear Leria," Her father said in a deep voice."look closer into it. What do you notice?" Leria got up, and stared at the snowglobe. She saw a plack at the bottom, saying:

                                                  Space Pirate Database Ship
                                                      Never upset a perasite queen

Leria saw a large crack in it, and explosions bursting out, and the elertical lights where creaking. She saw a smaller thing hanging by a thread. It was something of a spaceship; with the colors of gold and orange. And standing on a platform, looking ready to jump was a robot thing. It was beautifully made, with gold and orange colors all over it. "Who's the robot?" Leria asked. "And what the heck is a parasite queen?" Bayles sneerd. Leria didn't even notice him there. "Stalker!" She said playfully. Her father laughed, and he made his way towards them. "A parasite queen is a large toxic creature, and it produces younglings from its tail, and it sprays toxins, too. Stay clear of them. And that, that is no robot. That is a human being like us. Thats a metroid. The metroid. Samus Aran." Bayles murmerd under his breath, no one could hear what he said. Leria stood silently. "Samus Aran. Pretty name." Leria's long blonde hair was streaming down her neck like a river, and she noticed that it was in need of a brushing. "Well I'm bored. I want to go outside." Bayles said. "What about the popcorn you promised us?" Thier father asked. "Uh- wer're all out...?" Bayles manged. His father chuckled. "Fine Bayles, you can venture off into the wilderness." Leria stared at the hallway, and made her way into her room. She turned on a light, and her bed was really messy and her night stand was filled with drawings and books. She went to her mirror-table and began to brush her hair. She noticed Bayles outside, running like nuts, looking at the sky. He bagan jumping, and pointing. Leria put her unruly hait into a simple ponytail and she went outside to greet him. It was a sunny day in the front yard, but there was a shadow in the back. Bayles grabbed Leria's arm. "It's up there! L-look! Get Da! Now!" He said, pushing her to the house. She looked up, and saw something like the snowglobe! It looked like a hige version of the ship space pirates came to her town in when her mother died! Now it was time to run. She ran inside, tossing the screen door aside. She was tripping over her own feet, and she came to her father in a complete oppisite of a stop. "They are here! We have to go!" She maged in a raspy voice. "What dear?" Her father asked, and he stood up, looking worried. "T-th- the space pirate ship! It over the town! The REAL space pirate ship!" Leria cried. Her father ran out the door with her, and when he saw it, he nearly fainted. He pushed Leria and Bayles into the woodland area, and he grabbed his lazer shooter and stood inside the house, and then he grabbed something and ran to them. He continued pushing them farther into the forest, into the light other than the shadow of the space pirate ship. He shot something inside a badger den, and without dbout it was the badger. They featsed on the badger, cooking it with the lazor. "I didn't even know you had that!" Leria whipserd in wonder. "I would expect Bayles to say that." Her father said, laughing. "Kids, I have something to say. If we die today, I will have to tell you this." He reached into his pocket, and he took something out. As he clicked the button, he became a big metal mess. Leria noticed quickly what was happening. "Y-your a metroid?! Dad thats awesome!" Leria said, nearly jumping up and down. "But," He began, stopping Leria's jumping. "we live in a video game. Nothing we see is real. It may seem real, but we live in a world of pixels. Samus Aran was in two games, which gave her the chance of game jumping." After he said that, the space pirate ship was landing, and he help Bayles and Leria's hands. "Run. Run fast run far Leria. Bayles," He bagan. "take the lazer shooter and this temporary emergency armor." Bayles looked exited, and he quickly pressed the button. "Run Leria." Bayles said, motioning her away. She made it look like she was leaving, but she climbed a tree not far away once the stopped looking at her. She was completely hidden in leaves and branches, but she bad a brilliant view of the ship and her family. The ship was on the ground now, and it smashed half of her house. Odd creatures came out in groups of ten, and about 50 groups came out. They held guns like Da's and they looked easy to defeat. She heard a noise, and looked up. The ship! That must be Samus Aran's ship! she thought. She watched as it made a rough landing, and it came to a stop. A metroid came out, all on her one, and she was wearing a suit of orange and gold. "Samus Aran! Samus Aran is more than 60 feet away from me!" She said. Samus looked up at the tree, hearing her. Leria didn't dare breathe. Samus took space jumps up the tree, and was almost to Leria. "Stop!" She shouted. "You shouldn't try to take me out of here! I need no care! I'm twelve! Pay more attention to my family and the space piartes! Please!" Leria cried. Samus looked starteld. She took her helmet off, and she was a.... GIRL?! Leria stared at her, and gulped. "Okay. If you really want no help. You chose a good spot." Samus said, winking. "If they get near, don't move a mucule!" Samus said at last, jumping down. She put her helmet back on, and ran away. Leria put forth her attention to her parents. Bayles was struggling with a space pirate, and Da was on fire! Literally! His suit was flaming! 5 more pairs of space pirates ran out of the ship, all twords them! Samus charged in, literally blowing them all up one at a time. Bayles! Grab hid knees! He is weak there! Da! Punch it in the gut! It's iternally beeding! Can't you guys see?! Leria thought. She was noticing all of thier weaknesses, and she was thinking of new strategies like a game.

Leria opend her eyes, feeling a shaking feeling. Samus was shaking her. "I killed them all. There are barly and surviors, flee while you can!" She said; bouncing away onto her ship. Leria nimbly raced down the tree, ready to congragulate her brother and father about living. They lived, right? Leria turned a corner, hopping around dead bodies of humans and space pirates alike. She stopped short at the sight of her father, who was cut and scraped and bleading all over. "Da!" Leria cried. "Forget about me. Get to Bayles while you can-" Her father manged. "I love you all..." He stopped breathing. Leria was bawling so loudly, it echoed everwhere. She stood up, wiping tears from her cheeks. She ran into the house, and kicked angerly at a space pirate with low life signs, litterally killing it, torchuring it. "Za.. Ba Blu.." It whined stupidly. She took its ugly face, he hands and feet green wih it's blood, and she ripped off its head. She threw it to the ground, and she ran to her room. There she saw Bayles's suit, ripped off. She followed a trail of dry blood to the cellar under her bed, and she crawled in. "Bayles!? Bayles please answer!" She cried. She heard mumbling from the corner, and there was wnough light to see Bayles. "Leria!" He said. His leg was tottally torn off, and his face was pale. Leria picked him up and set him on her bed. He was bleeding so much, it coated the bed with scarlet. Tears streamed down Bayles's face of pain and joy. He was alive. Leria cried of the same reasons. Before later, Bayles was crieing of pire pain. Leria stared at him. "Bayles. I know what to do," She slipped the lazor gun from his hand and put it into her own. "Join Mama and Da, I will take you out of your misery." Bayles gasped, but soon understood. He put her hand to his chest, and he said, "Get on with it." Leria tried to soothe him, but the hard part was sootheing herself. "No more pain. No more agony. Love and joy. For you." She puts the lazor gun to his head, then to his chest, thinking of a quicker less painful streagy. She shot him in the heart, and then she fell onto him. His breathing stopped quickly, and he was gone. Leria cried. She fainted while crieing on him. She was alone, alone in her town, alone in her family. Was life going to be this way now for her?
